General Questions

Why should you work with me?

I handle all of your brand’s visual communication needs. You don’t have to worry about finding someone for each department –  I can do branding & design and keep your brand identity strong and cohesive.

How long does it take to complete a project?

This all depends on the project at hand and it’s complexity. I do give an EDD (Estimated Delivery Date) before you pay your deposit to ensure timeframe is suitable. If you agree, you will be added to my work queue. Once you spot in my queue comes up, I will contact you and we will begin working on your project.

Please note: Delay of content being sent will delay the completion date of your project.

What if I don’t like it when its finished?

You will be given initial round of design and then you will have the opportunity to provide feedback for a further 2 rounds of changes. This ensures that you will love the finish product. However, if you want to make changes after I have delivered the final product, I am happy to do for an additional fee per hour.

Are your prices set in stone?

I currently have my standard packages laid out on my website. However, no two projects are the same. If your package requires more work than the standard prices listed on my Let’s Work Page, I will tailor a custom package for your individual project.

Branding Questions

What is included in a branding package?

My Branding packages are created to fulfill your needs but they can include mood boards, stylesheets, web design, blog design, logos, patterns, business card, thank you cards, media kits, brochures, and much more.

How long will a branding package take?

This can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks and up. The timeline depends on your requires, your project, our communication and scheduling.

Design Questions

Can I provide you with the exact design I want to have?

Yes, I am happy for you to provide designs you like. Please note, I am not going to reproduce another designers work. I do encourage my clients to provide me with their drawing inspiration. However, all work must be original and unique to your brand.

Web Design/Development Questions

Will I be able to update content myself once the website is complete?

Yes you will. Upon final delivery, I give you a step by step PDF guide that will cover a range of topics including updating content and have to post a blog (if you have a blog). I also provide you with a video walkthrough of your website as well.

Do you offer a maintenance service?

I do provide maintenance services at my hourly rate. If you want a consistent flow, i do have a retainer package as well. However, I do not update your blog sections for you, this is something you will have to do on your own.

Do I need to provide my own imagery for the website?

Yes, I will need to be provided with any images you would like on your website. All images have to be hi-resolution images that are large in size. Please have permission from the original owner to use any images you supply as I will not be held responsible should any legal matter arise due to the photos licensing issue.

Will you host my website?

No, I no longer offer a hosting service at this point. You will need to purchase your domain name and/or hosting and provide me with the login details.

What platforms do you work with?

I currently design and develop utilizing WordPress, Shopify, or HTML. All CMS (Content Management Software) are powerful, and are mobile responsive.

Can you set up my hosting for me?

I can point you in the right direction. However, setting up hosting is the responsibility of the client.

Payment Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card via stripe, or via check (Made out to Lakeasha Jackson) for services rendered.

How does payment work?
Unless other payment options (payment plan) are discussed, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit prior to starting the design project (even if in work queue) and the final balance is required to be paid after approving the final design before I deliver the final product.

Premade Brand/Theme Questions

Are the files owned by me?
Yes. I don’t resale your brand once you have purchase the rights and licensing.

Can I request any changes to the template other than the name?
Yes, you can. However, the changes will be charged at my hourly rate.

Refund Process

Can I Get A Refund?

Due to the nature of our business and products we sell, items that expire as soon as they are delivered. Our refund policy is All Sales Final. Unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange after this period. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. In which case, most products sold on our website are ready for download immediately.

For any other physical items to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the item you have purchased to us within 5 calendar days of the purchase. The item must unopened and in its original condition. Contact our customer services department to get a shipping label. Return shipping fee will be deducted from the amount of the refund.

If our physical products arrived damaged or contaminated in any way, please contact us right away and we will be happy to send a free replacement regardless of its expiration date.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
